Importance of VDI Tool Holders
Tool holders play a crucial role in CNC machining, and choosing the right one is essential for an effortless tooling and cutting process. There are majorly two ways of mounting the tools, which are VDI and BMT Tool, holders. Some manufacturers also provide different turret head dimensions for fitting indifferently. BMT Tool holder: BMT Tool Holders are called base-mounted turrets and are used for precise tooling. The holder will mount rigidly into the turret with four moulds. The keys on the turret head do not indicate straightening the tools like VDI tool holders. They have a straightforward design, unlike VDI tool holders, which are complicated.
